you guys that are using them.....hows the "noise " level compared to a comp cam or a ruggles210-205?...i guess my question is ...is the seald power cs 1016r and ht 969 lifter as quiet as the "stock" GM ...when installed with proper pre-load? T.I.A...my 210-205 MM cam and lifters are shot after 30+k miles....so i'm shopping for a new cam combo...and I cant afford a roller ... joe:confused:

Red could tell you. He uses Seal Power cam and lifters. I use Comp products. I have also been told that comp grinds Seal Power cams and others also. I am not sure of this. May be Red will see this and chime in.

cam and lifters are quiet ....

only problem i've had at all valve train wise is timing chains and tentioners but i went by LeeThompsons advice now and got a rolmaster chain and it looks to be a very nice piece.

if your talking about your valves ticking or something ..i dont have no problems like that and i've had preload all over the place from running stacked steel head gaskets to running a stock 86-87 head gasket and now running a single steel shim and all with stiock pushrods.

sealed power lifters will handle the different preload levels like a lifter is suppose to do....comp's are the ones that are real picky...

sealed power bought out comp cams a couyple years back but it is no different ..comp is still comp and is only owned by sealed power not run by them.

just like mr gasket owns holley now but a holley carb is still a holley carb..;)

the 1016r cam is great performer and you will be impressed im sure.

like any cam they can wipe out ...no cam is bullet proof even roller cams can mess up from time to time

lunch is ready gotta run ... enjoy your better spoolup and better high gear pull..:D
