sealed power roller lifters

Anyone running sealed power roller lifters? p/n# slp-ht-2148
Curious to know.Thinking of running roller set up in street motor.

Do not know but I bet they are the same as the 853's because it seems that there was, for a long time, only one mfr of lifters - seems that there is at least one other mfr for the roller lifters but not sure if that was for a solid roller.

Yes, I am running a set of the Sealed Power roller lifters. They are the same as the Comp Cams 853's. Had to replace a pair of the SP lifters because of a broken roller rocker shaft. Don't ask, the rocker shaft was basically my fault. Wasn't sure where to get SP roller lifters, so I took a chance and ordered a pair of Comp Cams. Basically, you couldn't tell a difference.

thanks for the info, i'd rather buy them at a chepear price than another set of Comps that are clogged with debris. what cam and pushrods did you use?

Comp 210/215 cam. Custom length push rods, roller rockers.

The Comp lifters are pretty easy to clean out. Just takes a little bit of time.:wink:
