A lot of us tried them last year when they were very popular.

Very good idea if they continued to work for more than a few months.

Unfortunately, they are buggy, and loaded with quirks.

Unless they've been completely redesigned, I'd recommend NOT.

Bummer! Was going to use one on my Blazer as our parking lot at work has become a shopping mart for used cars. (without paying for them, if you know what I mean)

Yes that was my question. I had one. Sometimes it would start, sometimes not. They were recalled last summer. Sold for 2 years..

good idea

Sear had a great idea, but they do not work all of the time. I had three of them before i gave up on the third one, hope they bring them back and fix ALL of the problems.

I know they are on the Sears website as of today. Anyone out there work at Sears by any chance? I didn't know they were recalled!:(

I returned mine last year as it was acting all goofy and soon thereafter I was informed of a recall.

I have not had any problems with mine, and I've owned it since they first came out over 2 years ago. Guess I'm lucky.
I'm a little miffed that I wasn't informed of the recall, though.

Called a Sears store just for the heck of it and apparently they have been discontinued. Guess it was a great idea that just didn't work. Bet someone lost their job over that design!:(

1 quick v6 you should have got a letter in the mail about the recall. I agree, my battery has had no problems so I am going to wait before I bring it back to them for a free replacement. I have a lot of cars and like the idea that I can put that battery in more than one car, a lot cheaper than buying 15 alarms. I hope they bring it back. Also you don't have to cut any wires or drill holes in your car!
