seat belt refurbishing

Has anyone had their seat belts refurbished? I have most of the belts I need for my GN, but the belt itself isn't as clean as I would like. It seems that there should be a company or companies that R&R seat belts...... you send them the hardware..... tell them what the vehicle is..... they replace the belt itself..... It shouldn't cost an arm and a leg either......

Am I wishfull thinking?

I'm sure many of us have seat belts and the material of the belt is dirty or frayed. Seems to me, one way to replace your belts would be to find someplace that sells the seat belt material. Buy some and take it to any upholstery shop. Have them cut off the buckles and sew the new seat belt material to it.
