Selling Items online...

Can someone tell me why it seems to be the norm now that people want your items but never pay? I mean especally EBay... I am done with Ebay... I have had 4 buyers not pay in the last month. Is it just a game? Do these people do the same thing with their bills in life? I say I want something but when It comes down to it I just ignore you and never pay. Its so frustrating. Just keep your mouth shut and dont bid or tell me you want a Item so bad when you have no funds! I get all the excuses too. The best is when their kid or mother, father is in the hospital so they had to take all money out of PayPal! I got the hospital excuse 2 times last week alone! Reminds me of when I used to Manage retail and a guy told me his dad died and he was at the funeral only to see him at the gas station 2 blocks from the store buying beer and cigs.... I hate people...
