I'm going through my trans right now and i noticed that the servo is missing the small black inner spring and my rebuild kit did not come with the teflon ring for the inner piston. When i took the trans apart i do not remember a spring in the servo but i have a few books that show it. Also is there any advantage to using the 200c servo? I have one of those from a V8 car.
can someone explain the pinning the governor spring? Are you guys just taping the end of the weight were the hole is and just putting in a screw?
Anyone ever run the white 700 spring in the 3-4 accumulator housing? This is just going to be a street car with a few track runs here and there.
Last i bought a hughes deep pan and i want to run the 700 filter. What i would like to do is grind the nipples out of the pan and put the filter on the bottom of the pan. Does someone sell a extension for the filter neck?
