I have a set of Weld Pro Star racing wheels that are in almost new shape. They were made in Sept. of 2003 according to the tags. They have maybe 10 passes on them. I bought them about a year ago from the original owner and I never did use them. Please excuse my ignorance, but I am not sure on the sizing of these wheels. I know the fronts are 15x4.5. The backs are I believe 15x10. If anyone can kindly tell me how to correctly measure these that would be great. Also it looks like the bolt circle on all wheels is 4.5" from center of one hole to the center of another hole (if that is the correct way of measuring bolt circle). The back wheels have holes drilled for rim screws and I have all the screws in a bag. All wheels are also drilled for tubes. All lugnuts and center caps are included as well. These wheels look GREAT. Like I said, someone needs to let me know on the correct sizing for me to be sure. Regardless I want to get $500 out of these wheels. I am willing to travel locally to drop off since I go to school in Tinley Park, IL. I will ship on the buyer's expense (not cheap mind you). Please email me or post on this thread if interested. Thanks alot.

You must be going to DeVry, I work near 175th and Harlem. FYI the Speedway at 183rd has 110 at the pump. :D

Wow that was a fast response...yeah I actually do go to Devry! I'm actually moving out that way. My GN is in storage here in Indiana for the winter:frown:

Don,
Let's hope that they're 4.75" lug spacing, as 4.5" is for Ford / Mopar. For width measurement just measure between the inside wheel lip. You probably should measure backspace also, lay a straight edge, board or whatever across the back of the wheel and measure down to the lug area, that will be backspace. HTH.

Hey thanks for the help. How do you measure bolt circle exactly? Maybe these really are 4.75". The previous owner used these on a chevy so that must be it. I'll get the backspace measurements tomorrow. Sorry I'm definitely not a wheel expert!

Measure from the center of one lug nut hole to the center of another lug nut hole opposite of the hub opening. In other words, any lug nut hole except for one of the two next to the one you are measuring from ;) The fronts must be 3.5" or 4" or 5" as Weld doesn't make a 4.5". The rears don't look like they have much back space?

OK let me get my measurements straight here...I'll repost later this afternoon. Sorry about that :(

Here is a simple way to know if the bolt pat is 4.75
Take a wheel off your car and try to put one of these on there if it fits its 4.75 if its off just a bit and wont go on there 4.5 :)
Lame mans way to see if they will fit a GN or T
If not you will need to sell them on a Mustang forum :(

good luck
D

You can measure by outside edge of one lug, skip next lug and measure to the center of the next-should be 4.75". i think these wheels might be dual bolt pattern for 4.5" &4.75".they are also very light and shouldnt cost more than $20. per wheel to ship-i have shipped several.im interested in the fronts if you seperate the set.measure inside lip to inside lip while wheel is standing up and it will give you the correct width.

OK guys I got the correct measurements. All the wheels bolt circles are 4.75". The fronts are 15X3.5 with 1.5" BS. The backs are 15X10 with 4.5" BS. Hope that helps. I CAN separate the fronts and backs but would prefer selling as a set. I want to get $500 for the set or I can sell the fronts for $175 and the backs for $325. I will do local drop-off like I said earlier or I can ship at buyer's expense. For those that sent me PMs, please send me another PM to confirm you still want them, otherwise I will go to the next person. Thanks guys, sorry for the confusion earlier.

Wow this is a popular thread...I sold those wheels a LONG time ago:D
