Sheet metal body work.

I have a few rust holes that need some attention in the left rear well and right rocker panel. Just wondering what gauge of sheet metal would be appropriate for this job? or what gauge of sheet metal is used for the skin of the car?

16,18 or 20 i also cut pieces out of old hoods fenders ect.where u located in mass i also live in mass.

Thanks for the info I went to home depot and picked up some sheet metal there its 26 gauge. 16 gauge looked to thick. I live in spfld
