Sheet metal patches

I have a Monte SS which has some rot on some of the panels. Rather than replace the panels I would like to cut the rotted sections out and mig weld new sections in. My only problem is I can not find a supplier for the metal. Where would I look to find some flats sheets of the correct metal to use to repair panels. I was thinking of using some commercial HVAC ductwork but would that be correct to use? Is there something better?

They have some patch panels and many replacement panels.

Do you have any old body parts, laying around?Hood's or doors Take out the air chiesl & cut what you need
