Shift point for S2 cars?

What RPM are some of you shifting at?

Please include what heads and cam - hyd/solid - duration.

Shift points

First to second 6900
Second to third 6700

224 224 solid roller cam, with stage 2 heads.

I think it will rev higher but currently don't need to run any faster.
The roll cage is not certified to run nines yet.

1-2 7000
2-3 6800
traps out at 140 currently with a safe rich tune

One of my guys with a Hyd roller is spinning 6800-6900, T74 turbo, champ heads, 26lbs of boost, 9.11@148mph.

Otto, you know thats a Bobby motor and cam choice......... my customer just wanted a motor that would let him run 9.50-9.70's..... Can't wait to put those 8 second Champion valve covers on!!!

Sorry working on imports does that.It`s 8000 rpm.
With a slipping converter and 4.56 gears will do that.
