Shifter Cable Adjustment

Hey guys I just installed a new shifter cable on my GN. I was lucky enough to get a GM cable. It installed with no problems except the shifter selection and the trans selector are out of sync. It does not have enough adjustment on the selector bracket on the trans to adjust it. Any one else have the same issue ? Anyone know what the fix is ? Thanks

Make sure its in park on the tranny and shifter, then turn the base of the steering column by hand counter clockwise to make sure it's in park before you try and sync the gears.

I had both sides in the park position but did no try turning the column. I will try that when I get home. Thanks
