I'm putting the car back together after 5 years and am pretty foggy on what goes where. I'm reinstalling the linkage that ties the trans to the column and am wondering if the bracket that goes on the proportioning valve goes on top of or under it?

Thanks

It goes on top of the combo valve. With the valve going directly against the frame.

If you need any pic's of that area let me know. Car is currently sitting on jack stands.

Cool, thanks. Can you take a pic and maybe include the linkage on the trans when in Park? I'm not 100% sure where park is and exactly which bolts on the trans pan the cable bracket bolts on.

This should do the trick...

Does anyone have pictures of how the trans linkage (cable?) from the shifter hooks up to the transmission? I'm taking a B&M shifter out of my car and trying to hook the stock setup back up. Have a pretty good idea, just want to verify I have it right.

TIA

Perfect! I knew I remember seeing a thread like this a while ago, just couldn't find it searching.
