Shifter spring

I need to know the length and diameter measurements for the spring that is inside the shifter handle. My button gets stuck in the shifter...

Pull off the handle
And turn the white plastic
Part up a few turns
This will not allow the button to go all the way in.

I'll give that a try Larry but thought there should be a spring inside. How's NC treating you?

There is a spring inside.
But if u have to push the button in to far to shift in to gear.
Sometimes the spring will get stuck u can take it apart and stretch it abit. To give it more tension aswell.

Its good. Been cold but I love it
Spring is coming time to build something else. Lol.

Yeah, popped it out and no spring inside
