My 87 is shifting up thru the gears too soon when the temperature outside is on the colder side. The transmission otherwise works well, even under WOT....tight shifts and no slippage.
Is this a problem with a modulator being faulty or more of a vacuum leak problem. The car does not do it when it is cold....sometimes does not do it all all....but when you are doing 25mph and it shifts itself all the way into 3rd, it sucks.
.....could it also be a problem with the torque convertor??
