Shifts problems

On cold days I have little to no problems but when the trans gets hot shifting becomes a problem. Uphills downshifts are very hard and delayed as well as when it upshifts seems like engine bogs a little. I also get a slight tick from trans in drive only when hot. Trans cooler needed?????? Thanks I need the help!

The lockup solenoid is most likely bad in the trans. Change it out.
