I have a friend on the west coast that hauled a car for me from Minnesota to the CSX port. From there it went on the ship to HI. I asked him if he would do it for other people and he said O.K. depending on his schedule. He is a long time racer and now works for NHRA as a Technical Inspector which means he can inspect and certify the car if it is a race car. He has a enclosed trailer to haul the car. I didn't trust the commercial transporters to do it and he could take care of any problems up there since I'm thousands of miles away in the middle of the Pacific. It won't be "free" but its an alternative. Just trying to help us HI guys out.
