Shortbock?

I own an 84' GN and was wondering if anybody knows where I could purchase a new shortblock? I already checked with the local Buick dealership to learn that one was not available from GM. My original engine has some blowby, and I will rebuild if neccessary I just wanted the easy way. Thanks for any help!

New shortblock? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. I wish they were available. The only choice is a rebuild or find a good used one. If you get a rebuild make sure it is only by a well known vendor or you will have a 5,000 mile motor.
