Should there be seals on the exhaust valves ?

I noticed that I have seals on both the intake and exhaust valves.
I've read a few threads where guys are talking about using the
seals on the intake valves only. Is there a reason for this ?

When I had my TR Ltd rebuilt, we did not put seals on the exhaust side.

Our cars came from the factory without the exhaust seals.

Amazing, how in the best of all worlds, things get right down to proper lubrication, isn't it (double meaning intended)

Think.. on the exhuast no seals are needed cuase theyre aint no vacuum. Only pressure. Seals are to keep oil from entering the motor.

You can put them on..wont make a difference since theyre not needed.
