Showboards
I actually had a showboard made custom a few years ago. I went to a local promotions/marketing company and they did the art and made one for me. It was on "core board", then laminated and was approximatly 36x24. I had given them a Fender emblem and some art work showing the turbo 6 logo and Grand National logo. This was listed at the top along with year 1987. I used small tubo 6 logos as "bullits" for each item that was listed on the showboard. It then had my wife and my name at the bottom along with where we live. I paid $110 for this and always thought it was much cleaner and custom looking than "showboards". I had used it for 3 or 4 show seasons. Always sat on a small tripod in front of the car. As my GN was modified, the sign and descriptions did not apply so I netly trimmed our names off the bottom and sold on E bay for what I paid for it. Might check with local companys if this is the route you want to go. I would be glad to give you name of company that did mine, but there would be shipping and communication to deal with. I was doing some web searches and came upon a few threads in the forums on showboards and thought I would provide some additional info on showboards and what I can do to help and design something unique for you.
