Silly 3.5" dash speaker question

I'm looking to replace the dash speakers in my '87 GN. I know that they are 3.5" but I've heard of problems with certain 3.5" speakers not fitting. What do I have to look out for so I know that a set I buy will fit? Any recommendations?

the only thing to look out for is to make sure the tweeter is not sticking out too far so it wont hit the grille.also if tweeter is sticking out slightly,you can put the screw clips on the speaker and mount it under the dash pad( the speaker will go through the top of the dash.)
