Well I just got back from silver dollar raceway and I have bad news, My car was running way off as it has been sitting 5 years, I put the thrasher in it and made a run with hard street radials and it went 13:46@106.71 with a 2.38 60 foot, well I adjusted on it some more because the car use to run 12:50's on radials, The last run I made it had a 2.60 sixyt foot and it burt or spit at the line and then took back off, At half track it lost boost from 20.5 down to12 then start climbing back up, it then sound like a header blow off as it sputtered real bad and I backed out of it. I got to the return road and checked the turbo link and saw that it was at 20.5 psi boost and then one frame went to 26.5 which I think was false. This engine has never been apart and now something is wrong. If you try to rev it up it makes a exhaust noise on the passenger side and blows black smoke out of the back as if it is running real rich. If you let it idle it sounds ok but any throttle about 1500 rpms and it starts sputtering. No water in oil and no leaks I can tell, sometimes it pops when you crank it but it will start and run smooth until you accerate. Any Ideas? I am going to do a compression check when I feel like going back out to the shop. I am depressed now so I am going to let it sit for a while. Also I had a ford ranger hit my truck in columbus friday and I feel off of the truck on a 4 wheeler at the races and bent my tail gate and I also have the flu after getting a flu shot last week. So my week has sucked big time. If the head gasket is blowed I will replace it with GN1's!!
