Simple Computer Question

I currently use a cable modem. Can I pull the 56k modem card out of the PCI slot and be done with it? Or, is there something else I need to do? I just need the slot for something else right now.

Just make sure you uninstall any drivers properly thru your OS.... then yank it out.

go ahead and take it out, just keep the modem around just in case you need it someday.
