The positive wire for the TC solenoid, is it hot with the key on or does the ECM make it hot when calling for lockup? Thanks

12v with ign on to tcc sol., the ECU grounds to energize the solenoid.

did some checking

4 pins in the trans plug--with key on
green and blue (third and fourth ) are the only 2 that are hot.
I checked @ the brake switch both sides of the switch are hot.
Does this tell me I have a bad wire from switch to trans (assuming this is the route it take)
This is a harness that I know nothing about.
