Site takes longer to load...I thinkit's the Shoutbox

Just my opinion, but I don't like the Shoutbox.

Everytime I go back to the forum list, it takes several seconds to load. Much longer than the old site. I've minimized the Shoutbox, but it still loads, then minimizes.

In short...no like shoutbox.

Any way to really kill it?

It should be an option to turn it ON not turn it off, that way I will not load unless you want it to. I say just kill it.
