Dumb question, would a slic get more air and say cooler with out the Intercooler stroud?

I would think no. The shroud is designed to route cool air from outside the engine bay across the IC. With out a shroud the air would be hot coming off of the radiator and no cool the IC much if at all. But what do I know?

The radiator will pass a lot more air without one however, my car ran 10 degrees cooler when my SLIC V4 shroud was off the car.

I doubt the intercooler was any more efficient however.
