when i haven
t driven my car all day and i start it up and drive off it wants to stay in 2nd gear. I have to really let off the throttle to get it to shift. This goes away after 1-2 minutes and then everything is normal. The trans is probibly original and I'm just trying to keep it on the road for another 6 months. I have no money and a spot next to the curb to work on it(not fun). So i'm not lazy, i'm just trying to finish college then play with it. What is going on, is there anything i can do to extend the life of it? Is it dying?
