who lives in the smallest town? I live in Bird City, KS , population 408.

i think this town says 700 or so on the sign, but the town i lived in before this one is something like 300. the biggest town i eve lived in had a population of almost 2000.

Town I grew up in had 4000 people and I thought that was the smallest place on earth.

Bostwick, GA., here. Pop at last census, 336. [Been at least a half dozen funerals, a few moved away and a few went to jail. [Unlicensed pharmacutical sales]
Post office, gas station, part time restaurant, cotton gin, historic hotel, blinking red/yellow lite.
raised up in Rome, Il. Population about 300. Same type setting as Bostwick.
My 1953 grade school class: 5 girls, 4 boys.
Hometown USA, just the way it should be!

Shows 513 in 2006. I would say 475 today:cool:

if i learned anything from every teen movie in the 80's, everyone thinks that their home town is the smallest place on earth and that there is nothing to do there besides go to the mall, roller rink, or multiplex.. or just drive along the main street and race from every street light- especially if there are "only" 10,000 other people there..
i never could relate to those movies- the nearest mall was 40 miles away, the nearest movie theater was a single screen 10 miles away, the nearest roller rink was 30 miles away, and the "main street" was a 2 lane US highway that didn't see much in the way of traffic after about 9pm...
stoplights? hell no. the town barely had any stop signs- mostly just yield signs or unmarked intersections..

The Township I live in is about 400 people, but my address is associated with a Village of about 1,200.

Pretty small, but alot of drama.

HAHAH neat stuff, the smallest city I lived in was Lake Havasu , AZ ... 45k people with the nearest city 2 hours away ---
