Gentlemen,
I purchased a used SMC kit and have ordered the instructions from SMC, I'm sure they are on the way. However, it just so happens that I have my IC piping off the car right now. So, I figured might as well go ahead and drill the hole in the up-pipe. My question being; Can someone tell me exactly where to drill the hole in the up-pipe, and what size hole to drill. Thanks - BB:)

Use a 3/8" bit. However, you may have to work your way up to that size unless you have a nice drill press. You can put the nozzle anywhere you want, but make sure it's toward the bottom of the uppipe toward the back so the hose will still reach. Also, do not put it in the bend or you won't be able to get a wrench on the backside of the nozzle when you go to tighten it.

Good Luck!

James

I use a drill bit called a unibit. I simply keep enlarging the hole until the nozzle threads.

P.S. I'm still going to buy one of your gadgets one of these days. - BB:p
