I've tried a search to check out some options to route the wiring for the SMC alky kit into the interior of my GN. The grommet for the speedo cable is not my first choice as its getting full and I really don't want the big grey alky cable running across the firewall if I can help it. I talked to Jay Jackson and he mentioned another grommet below the heater box on the driver's side. I think it's the grommet for all the ECM wires he was referring to. Mine is very tight (full) right now.

Can anyone offer any suggestions? Any other grommets I missed? Any recommendations for a location for a new grommet. I need the space for some gauge wiring anyways. As always, any help is greatly appreciated. TIA.

Dean, there is a hole in the firewall (in my car at least) below the power master.

Careful if you use that grommet under the heater box on passenger side as that might route that boost sensing clear line pretty close to a couple of heat sources as with the DP and heater box. What I did was to drill another grommet hole near the center on driver's side and bought a new rubber grommet at the Home Supply place.

Cheesy harness tape actually works well in this application to turn the cable sorta factory looking black. :)

I wrapped my grey wiring in corrugated black plastic like the audio places use, zip tied it shut and routed under the overflow bottle and across the cowl with black plastic clips into the car. You have to look for it to see it. Very stealthy and clean!

Thanks guys. Any pics? I need to see it to get it with this issue. ;)

Look in the Lounge tomorrow for my car in the MPEG. You will be able to see the entire setup.
