SMC control issue

I have an SMC kit. Simply, I have it set at 10#. Even when the armed switch is off when it hits 10# the spray light comes on, and the engine pops. Is this light supposed to come on even if the pump is turned off?

Once its off it suppossed to be off..Looks like you have a bad power switch on the controller..

Tho your armed lite should be off with the switch off..

When I turn the controller off, the power light goes off, so there are no lights on the controller until it reaches the set boost, then the "Spray On" light comes on. I guess I could just leave the thing on all the time.

Most dont turn them off..but its not working like its suppossed to. Off is off in my book...contact Steve at SMC for a replacement controller.. no telling if there is anything else inside failing that may leave you alkyless..when you really do need it.

Shot him an e-mail last night describing my problem. I'm sure he'll be able to help me out. I'd rather not lost alky at 19#. Could be not so desirable.

Mine does the same thing. I turned mine off when using race gas and saw the light go on. Is something wrong with the controler?

mine does the same thing. I have it shut off and i hit my set boost and the light comes on. It also comes on when I hit the test button and the pump is shut off but it is not spraying. My uncle's does the same as well.
