Was having trouble starting up car today. I smelled a big odor of gasoline. Any suggestions?

I would not advise attempting to start the vehicle, sounds like youre leaking fuel somewhere. check the fuel pressure regulator o-rings that go to the rail and feed line. I had that happen to me a couple months ago.

But would it be visible on the outside of the fuel pressure regulator? thanks

Or the fuel rail? Cause I see everything real clean its just a strong smell of gas

Look around by the gas tank.Could be rubber lines coming out of sender.

Just pop the hood, and prime the fuel system. If it's that strong, you'll see or hear it leaking somewhere. Should be pretty obvious. He had a good point as well, check by the tank.

Check your fuel lines at the driver side K member also. Just put my motor back in and I had 2 O rings ready to fall apart.
