We'll I get correct data with the Extender chip I have the Y data stream in the extender chip.

Thanks
John

keep in mind that snap on scanner reads higher values on 02's that say scanmaster does

when using a snap on scanner on my car it runs best at 820's on the 02's

The Y datastream has a totally different format than the stock datastream.

MAF, O2, Retard are repeated several times in place of things like PROM ID and such.

Also, a couple new parameters, such as Injector Pulsewidth are present.

Your Snap-On will be showing a lot of confusion in several parameters, since it is expecting other values.

Thanks, that's what I thought. I have TL3.02 but the last time I used it when the display came up half guages were missing or there would be no display at all. It shows at the bottom that it's receiving data. I'd use scanmaster but the IAC is missing and that's what I wanted to check. Think I'll have the chip changed back to the stock data stream, I like that better for driving around .

Thanks
John

Ken could it be my laptop doing this it's a Dell P150. Had no trouble with the old TL

The P150 is below the minimum specs (it really should be a P166 or better). Basically what happens is Windows runs out of "horsepower" to update the screen to keep up with the data.

That said, we are working on v3.03 that is optimized in several ways and we *hope* (no promises ... Windows is a *PIG* for resources) to be able to make it friendly for lower end laptops.

That's what I thought. Good excuse to buy a better laptop.

Thanks
John
