The guys were discussing "what ARE muscle cars?" The discussion ended by acknowledging the Grand National and GNX. Check it out if you have time.

Also, Horsepower TV was working on an 85 Monte Carlo SS. The thing that was notable from this show was them cutting out part of the A/C box to make valve cover clearance, and then forming a piece of fiberglass across the hole they just made. This is what we need!!! I've never worked with fiberglass, and would be afraid of cutting the A/C core, but I'd love for a vendor to make a kit with pre-formed fiberglass (and an easy template to follow for cutting the old metal out). Would this ever make it easier getting to the head bolts and spark plug on #6!!!

It should be repeated on today's episodes. Starting at 10 central

LOL

Overpriced transmissions Did you see the 2004r they're putting behind the 454?

overpriced control arms :p

All about the big money sponsors and they still push that crap called " Build on a Budget " Our trans guys and control arm guys are better and cheaper. Thanks to the good vendors on here!

No cable or satelite so I can't watch it.:frown: We need to somehow get one of our cars on there and show them how it's done.

How much did they say the 2004r was? A good 200 for these cars is close to $3500 and you'll be lucky if it lasts a couple of seasons before needing refreshing.

I was laughing because they push the gear star 200's which to me are junk just like the tci 200's.

LOL You're young all right. I don't use AC a whole lot either. I heat my house partially with my fireplace in the winter as well. I know a few people that don't even have electricity and don't want it. They're not Amish either. They just don't believe it's nescisary(sp). I live in the country and don't really need the extras, it would be nice but I have other things that take priority. Buicks for an example.

And yet U still have the Internet:biggrin: you dont get snow in Texas do you? im a city person, i live and breathe c02, and in the country (besides Louisiana and Minnesota) i feel like im asphyxiating myself. I'm moving to Los Angeles when i'm done with school to make a living in an even larger city than Tacoma. I have a fireplace serving as a shelf for plant and spiders that crawl in as well:mad:. ur a true survivalist of the country, and im one from the city.

I grew up in DFW so I know about big cities. I try to stay out of them every chance I can but I still have to go there once in a while. I'd love to have satelite but it costs to much right now. Internet is on dial because there isn't much of a choice out here.
