Clevite 212-1483 (NAPA VS1628)
Beehive
Free length: 1.96"
O.D.: 1.25" **
Closed: 50# @ 1.8"
Open: 215# @ 1.318"

* = Listed as 1.23" in manuf data but since solid heigth is 1.23, added .050" to open heigth
** = Listed as 1.029" in manuf data, but NAPA equivalent VS1628 lists as 1.25"

I suspect that F-M/S-P VS1628, Melling VS-2226, and Clevite 212-1483 are all equivalent springs.
I also suspect that Melling VS-2222 and Clevite 212-1349 are equivalent.

I may be able to use behives on a flat tappet after all then. A little high under compression but I think it may work. Thanks for the info.
