Ok, so I'm in a parking lot with my lights and blinker on waiting for a spot (naturally it's night time). Moron walks past me, gets into his truck and just backs right into me! I jumped out and yelled at him and he says "Oh, sorry...I didn't see you there..."

The damage isn't too bad, cracked the taillight, scuffed the bumper, smooshed the quarter panel in...but it's original paint and still in good shape. I'm not even sure they can repair it and get the paint to match...maybe I'll just put the insurance money towards a whole new repaint.

The guy has Geico insurance...any ideas on how to make sure I don't get scroowed?

Damn Ian, sorry to hear that. That sucks big ones.:( That is a really nice car, make sure it gets repaired correctly. Hope your buddies gave him a big fat ticket. Back into a Gn, the very idea:mad:

Photo #2 looks good like no damage seen. photo is too dark.

What a moron that guy was. imagine if you were not there he would have run.

As for Gieco they treated me good & that was my neighbors insurance. The son backed out of driveway into my parked car.
I was amazed how they (gieco) bent over backwards to get my car fixed.
I have never seen that out of my own insurance carriers through the years.

The #1 WORST insurance company I ever had was COMMERIAL UNION. They SUK the big KAHUNA.

That sucks, sorry to hear about it.That happened to me 12 years ago when parts were easier to come by.Although that sucked it worked out for me.I paid some out of my own pocket to get the rest of the car painted. On the bright side, there really isn't one but consider yourself lucky he didn't hit you in the front.Mint GN header panels are like dinosaurs and $$.Grills ,h/l bezels, bumper fillers aren't cheap either.Hope it works out for you.

man o man

didnt scratch any MPE parts did it?

please tell me he didnt, I'll be REALLY PISSED then!!! :D :D :D :D  Good luck gettin it fixed, make sure paint dewd melts the clear in OK;)

Sorry to see that happen, but the good news is that it will be an easy repair:D I work at a bodyshop and that repair will be no big deal form the looks of the pictures, but it sucks to have it happen all!

Some people are just total A$$HOLES!

I really can't tell from the pictures, but have you thought about contacting one of those paintless dent repair guys. It woulden't do anything for the light, but at least the origional paint could be saved.

The paint is scraped away towards the rear and the metal is stretched...paintless dent repair may be able to help, but not repair.

I didn't kick him, but if he was an ass, I probably would have pepper sprayed him. Good thing he wasn't, wouldn't have been smart on my part.

That sucks..... Hopefully it will look just as good or better when it's fixed and next time ask the guy how he could miss a big black Buick!!! (Maybe you should have asked him if he was on any drugs or if he had been drinking)
