would thoes little things really make enough thrust to make an actual difference??? they say up to 300 lb of thurst, but even if they really did that 900 lp. of thrust isn't a whole lot when you concider what that works out to in h.p. cool idea though!

I wanted to build a jet turbine engine out of an old turbo myself . I was going to hook it up to a BBQ cooks a steak and chills a six quickly you know . If you run it on propane the tank lasts about 5 min so if you put it in water it gets real cold ( seen a site where a guy didi this ) , then the exhaust side hooked up to the bbq does the cooking .

300# wouldnt be enough to move a go cart I dont think, but I dont know much about thrust/wt ratios.

It goes through a 20# tank of propane in 5 min?

That could get expensive
