Sound Card Problems

Hi All,

Some weird things going on with my sound card on my new PC.

I had a buddy build me a new PC (Windows XP) and has a creative labs sound card.

Everything was fine up until about a month ago, I used AOl and when I was on AOL speakers would make weird noises and never stop, if I signed off and signed back on it went away and would sporatically come back.

Now 2 days ago everything is in reverb/echo sounds with my speakers....WTF???

Was that I only had problem on AOL now everything echos, anyone got any ideas.

Rather than trying to figure out exactly what Aol did (or whatever else might have happened software wise) you could run system restore and restore your pc to a previous date, say at least one month ago. The process is completely reversible, and should solve the problem unless its hardware related.
