Howdy,

I'm beginning the planning stage for my Switch Pitch 400 going behind my 4.1 in my 67 Skylark. I have some major concerns that I hope this board can help with.

1. Who still makes a mechanical modulator for the 400? Because after the 4T65E in my SR hit limp mode and went to full line pressure I don't want a manual valve body, the shifts are way too violent for my tastes.

2. Who still builds SP trannies anymore and who is considered the best at it?

3. With my fast spooling combo and a concentration on making the peak power at as low of an RPM as possible what would be the best high stall? 2800, 4500,....?

Thanks,

I need an answer to this as well. I just can get the vaccum modulator to act like I want it to.

thanks eddie.calibration of pressures in a th400 is not very confusing,we do build a variable pitch 400 as well as the proper convertor to go along with them.also sell vp kits.
