Local parts store show 0.45 for the 84 ~ 85 turbo cars.
They also show 0.35 for the 86 ~ 87.

I asked in another thread if I had gapped my plugs right because I have an 84 and I gapped them at 0.45 per the parts store.

I keep getting advice to gapped them at 0.35 but mine is not an 86 ~ 87 turbo.

Is 0.45 right for the hot airs?

.035 for sure and as you add mods and boost you might even need to knock it down to .032 or .030.

Here's big advise
"DO NOT EVER TAKE ADVISE FROM AUTOZONE"

for instance, I just purchased a fuel sending unit from them, they had to special order it, came the next day, go up to get it and its for a 78-79 cutlass, malibu, even though the '84 regal with the 3.8 l turbo sfi calls for that part #,
Another instance, My OLD car, '67 Impala SS, originally came with a big block 427, there computers doesn't even list that motor for that model  , if your gonna trust a parts store, trust one that doesn't need a computer for information, NAPA is pretty good, just expensive
The best place for info on your Turbo regal is right here!
