no but you will have to measure the end play between the shaft and support if you want to do it right.a vernier caliper is all youll need and they are very reasonably priced and easy to find
There is one special tool for any auto my teacher pounded into our heads. A small pocket screw driver to pull snaprings and ect. Or one of the dentist tools but somethin small is a good idea.
