I DID A SEARCH BUT I NEEDED SOME CLARIFICATION. MY VOLTAGE
THAT I HAVE DATA LOGGED IS 11.9V YET MY ALTERNATOR IS PUTTING OUT OVER 14V. IS THIS A PROBLEM AND IF SO HOW CAN I GET THE SPEED PRO TO READ THE HIGHER VOLTAGE. I AM RUNNING A GN WITH A PLUG AND PLAY TYPE HARNESS AND 83 # INJECTORS
JEFF

Usually the voltmeter is pretty accurate.

If you are seeing low voltage, you might check your wire sizes & connections first. Compare it to the voltage at the wire that connects to the speedpro.

To see if it is a problem, look at your batt corr %- this can bugger things up a bit, especially on some older systems.

Batt volts??

There's been considerable discussion on the topic recently.. Suggest you do a search and see what might be of help.
