Speedometer Cable which one for which application?

I see two different ones listed 25033391 and 25033405 which I believe the new numbers are 88959481 and 88959479. They both list that they will work for these cars but the first one is about 100” and the second is about 83”. Which application is the long one for and which is the short one for or will either one work? Thanks in advance.

theres two cables from factory , with male and female ends to join under the hood beside the powermaster
the lower is longer than the upper
to 100 replaces the two with one cable and will allow running cable as the originals were behind the driver wheelhouse

I have a nice used NAPA Balkamp replacement that is 61" (the lower cable from the trans to under the powermaster) if you're thinking about retaining the original lengths ...
