I removed the driven and drive gears for the speedometer on my 2004R. I did the math and they are the correct gears for a rear end gear ratio of 2.73. I have 3.42 on my stock rear end. My speed is off by 20-25 mph causing the converter to lock and unlock. The tag on my transmission is bare metal with what it looks like is a date stamped on it. 11-80. I can't find a code on my valve body either. It doesn't look like the stock governer either. I included pictures. Any help would be appreciated with the identification of the transmission. I was under the impression that it was but the more I dig the more I find it might not be the case.

Nope. Not from a performance core. Additionally, if that is indeed a date code on the tag, it's one of the earliest 200-4rs built. They were introduced in the 81 model year. Pics of the tag? Numbers off the servo cover??
