No.
I wish I had my directions in front of me.
If I remember right there's one wire that needs to be cut, and one wire from the BstC needs to be attached to the cut piece that leads to the ECM, and the other BstC wire for it needs to be attached to the cut piece leading into the engine compartment.
READ THE DIRECTIONS VERY CAREFULLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! because they tell you which color those two wires are and which piece they attach to, and which ends of the cut wire get the female connector and which wires get the male connector. It's that way so that if you ever remove the BstC for some reason, the wire that was cut now connectors that will attach it back together.
Well I have slpiced all the other wires together, hope I didnt mess up.
EDIT:: where is the boost control solenoid and how do I splice it into there??? thanks
for solenoid just connect up at the ecm to the purple /white C3 wire
cut the wire (C3) and attach as shown in the instructions ,
on my chip the boost is commanded near 100% so i left the end to the ecm disconnected , otherwise if you run the gain knob less than full when the BSTC was switched off or power was interupted the ecm would now take over and solenoid would run full open (highest boost ) which might be more than your combo can handle . now i can switch it off and know the boost wont go above my base of 23psi (very safe # for alky)
Im still fiddling with my BSTC controler , cant seem to get mine to pull boost down in third gear , i wanted to run 28psi then drop to 24 in third , so what i did was switch the unit off and that effictively cuts off the solenoids (i have two) and drops the boost down to the base setting of the wastegate rod.
Well, I am lost, if someone could call me with help on these last 2 wires I would appreciate it the # is (818)381 6347 thanks for any help. Oh my names jeff
