Spot Vet Update

Well thanks everyone for coming over to the house, as you all know we had to take SPOT to the Vet and we just got home its 1:10 am. The poor little guy is in BAD SHAPE he is being Hospitalized for a minimum of 4 days with SEVERE Enimea, Hook Worms and Round Worms are sucking his blood from his tiny fragile body...he will need a Blood Transfusion, Intravenous Catheter, Intravenous Fluids, among other treatments.....I am sorry to put this out in this forum but wanted all of our Hawaii Family to know.......keep your fingers crossed for us please.....

Hey Randy,

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the little guy. It's a good thing you acted fast - that's a tall order for any pup to handle, especially one as young as Spot. Irresponsible breeder, IMHO.

At least he has a good, caring family now. Keep us informed...

We will be praying for the best here. Poor little guy, thats a lot to handle. Main thing is that he now has a family that loves him and will care for him for years to come. Keep us informed please.

Update:

Spoke with the Technician this morning and she advised that the Last shift Tech had left a note stating Spot had eaten all his food so hopefully he is feeling a little better than he was she also said that they are getting ready to do another C something test to check Red Blood Cell Count, Doctor will be in around 2pm so should here more by then.............Randy

Latest Spot Update

Hello All,

Good news Doc called stating he has made tremendous progress and that “Spot” will be released Tonight 13FEB05 at 7pm with meds. He suspects that the Deworming Med’s that were given on Monday by the Breeder’s Vet may have had an expired shelf life and not effective. So this is the Latest and Greatest and Thanks for all the love and prayers from all for Spots speedy recovery……

Night and Day Difference

Wow Spot has a voice he speaks his mind now that we got him back from the Vet he is 110% better he is eating and drinking and playing with Crackers toys........thanks again for all the love and support........I am at work now and linda is home babysitting he is rambunkshish as hell and I can see he is going to be a handful......Good Night All...........Randy
