"Spotted" section

Ok, spotted another GN in Coronado at a 4 way stop....

This one had IROC wheels and GNX fender vents but no spoiler I believe....could've been a Turbo T, hard to tell but it looked pretty good. We both waved at each other...

Anyone here?

SPOTTED a clean 85 white t???I dont think it was 86-87. Very clean though, and had a gn rear spoiler, t wheels. White guy driving. Did have all the emblems from the 85? Alameda and Glenoaks in Glendale going left on Alameda towards the 5 freeway. N?S? not sure. Maybe the same one you guys see in Valencia? think it has a turbo 6 emblem on the fenders along with the t type emblems.

Nope, not the same one. This one had no rear spoiler and factory 1987 "T" emblems on the fenders. It was a white guy driving it though... Car looked completely stock with horizontal door ding gaurds down the sides of the car. Not super clean but nice.

I think this one i'm talking about had out of state plates. Florida or Michigan? dont remember.

I saw this car when I got lost down in Coronado.

For as small as Coronado is, all the GNs I've seen seem to be in and around there. Probably mostly Navy personnel as the base is right there. I work on the base and I know of 3 GNs alone, not including mine.

Saw another white T-Type on the side of the 14 freeway by Sand Canyon broken down. Looked really nice and clean, blackout package, had the "T-Type" emblems on fender, tinted windows.
I wanted to pull over and try to help.....but my gf was driving....and she just kept on going :frown:

was it a white dude? and did it have the gn rear spoiler? I dont remember if the one I saw had tint, but probably did. And Glendale is close enough to the 14

I did not see who was driving it....flew by at 70 mph and I think the driver was sitting inside the car. Windows were really dark. It did have a GN spoiler. Car was headed North though, which is going towards Palmdale. Quite a ways from Glendale......I was on my way to Las Vegas myself.
Bugged me the whole day that I didnt get to pull over though :frown:

SPotted a GN out here in Diego!!!!

I was going to CVS out here in UTC and talked to a guy, maybe Scott? I was kind of in a hurry, but asked him was he on the boards and he said yeah. Clean GN and says he was buying some 87 GNX style wheels soon. I looked on the site to see the (stock gns ) for screen names but they were all out of towners.
Good seeing the National again. I just see mine this weekend and cant wait to get her back on the road.

86-87 T Type White

Saw an awesome T-type on the 10 around the I-17 in PHX, AZ. I revved my motor at you our of appreciation as my daily driver is a 3.8 S/C Bonneville (Silver). The license plate was something like JUSASIX.

Spotted a grouchy looking, red headed, ol Pollack tottering in front of me across a Lake Forest intersection in a white Ford Lightning at about 5PM today on his way home from his shop.

I was going to try to follow him and race him....but I was in the Landcruiser with the family, so I would have gotten spanked.

I thought about honking at him, but didn't want to do anything to stop his ticker in the middle of the intersection.:biggrin:

Well, in the Porsche, maybe, but please not in the Lightning, That's a nice truck. That Porsche won't be any great loss to the turbo brick community.
