Ok, my car runs fine when i start it up. I drive it slowly, around town, works great. Launching it from a stop, works great, and I can take it up to 85+ when i launch it... When I get on the freeway, and slowly creep up to 55 or over, the SOB starts cutting out, sputtering, backfiring, and will die on me. The other day I was driving in regular traffic at night, going around 45 mph and the car died on me alltogether and I could not get it started again. I had it towed home, and left it to sit overnight. Came out in the morning, and it fired right up. Im pulling no codes at all, everything seems to be working fine, compression is great, plugs are new, whats going on?? Any ideas?

Coilpack, Module, MAF ?

Those are the parts I would probably check first. Check wires too. Make sure they are in good condition, pressed on tight, and in correct firing order from coilpack.

hmmm... only at higher speed? maybe some loose wires under the hood getting knocked around by the high speed air moving around ? dunno ... just a suggestion
