my car has always had some weired noises that are just part of the car, most of them i've learned to live with. there is a squeak in the frount suspension thats driving me crazy! everytime i hit a bump, no matter how small it squeaks, sounds like the old squeaky floor in a horror movie, only lounder. i've sprayed everything down with wd40, that didn't help at all. it does ahve fairly new blisteins (there good for life right) so i don't think its that. what shuld i check before i go tearing everythign apart? i'm thinking maybe the swaybar, but i'm not sure. any ideas?

Ok raise the hood and look at the center rubber bumper(dead middle of cowl) by the windsheild that the hood rests on when closed. Put some grease on it and that is probably it. Pesky thing will have you thinking and looking everywhere. Hope that is it.

Grease everything with a fitting in the front end. :)

Also visually check the control arm bushings to see if you have any rubber left in them. ;)

Make sure you check and lube the hood bumper too.

i've put plenty of grease on that little thing up by the windshield for the hood, if its still that i'll take it out  Its probably a good idea for me to go through and hit all the joints with some grease anyways, sure hope that fixes it.

f it is the swaybar bushings (thats my first guess) how would i fix that, take the swaybar off and greast it? i'll do it if thats what it comes down to, but is their an easier way?

...new bushings on the sway bar. I was too cheap so I removed the bushings and cleaned the bar up where the bushings ride then lubed it up with grease which helped..

i just greased up everything, including myself, i wasted as much greese on me as i put on the car:rolleyes: still squeaks so my guess was right :( swaybar needs to be taken off, fun....

next question, does anyone know how to get grease out of mechanics gloves? or i guess get the gloves out of grease.
