hello people: It seems my steering wheels surface is getting so smooth I can't hold it going thru a harder turn. I know I could get a ribbed cover for it but I wonder if there is anything I could do to it now to help? I don't want a cover.

hello people: I actually thought of the glove idea but with the colder weather cumming in I think that's the problem. I did'nt have any problem this summer.

Between the oils in your hands and the Armor All, over the years the pores are all filled up. A good scrubbing with Dawn, or Lestoil (a good grease cutter) should restore the grip to your wheel.

Glue 80 grit sandpaper on the rims. That'll take care of your problem. Can also use for doing your nails while driving....:biggrin:

Take the wheel off and lay a few coats of SEM vinyl paint on it. It will renew the finish and protect what's left of your leather.
