ssbc caliper? on stock gn wheels

Anyone modify the bolt on replacement SSBC force 10 calipers to fit under a stock GN rim?

I called SSBC today and was told they will not fit, they will not tell me how much has to be shaved to fit under the rim but it can't be much.

I want to keep the ability to run the GN 15" rim, but upgrade the breaks. Right now they only other thing I can see that will work its the blazer break setup but the bearings suck from what I hear so I am trying to avoid that.

Ditto on th S10 option. I thought i just read that SSBC had some that were direct replacements. Maybe i was mistaken.

i was told that a 12 inch roter and 4 piston caliper system was being developed by ATS, american touring specialties for use with stock 15 inch rims. this is being done by SSBC brakes. possibly by late spring 2007.
